Sound Interactive Laser


As a passionate music lover, the dream of having a music studio filled with loudspeakers, strobe lights, lasers, and CO2 smoke has always been at the forefront of my mind. While my peers, who mostly had engineering backgrounds, focused heavily on functionality, I strived to uncover the poetic and beautiful side of technology as an artist/designer.

Through my exploration, I discovered how computers convert changes in energy given off by sound into changing electronic signals that can be read and interpreted. I also explored how even the slightest touch of technology to a light and music visualizing device can significantly impact human emotion.

My goal is to expand this concept to a room-scale, immersing people in an interactive and emotional audio-visual experience. I firmly believe that music is at the center of what it means to be human, and it is my passion to explore how technology can amplify and enhance that experience.
